Study four subjects at the undergraduate or graduate level. Upon completion, graduate with an undergraduate or graduate certificate, or keep going toward a diploma or longer award. It's also a great way to get a taste of Bible College and see where God leads you.

Apply for one of the short certificate certificate courses below. Once your application is accepted, enrol in any of our 50+ subjects or the ones recommended in the pathway guide below:

Undergraduate Certificate of Ministry*
Choose 1 Bible overview subject, 1 subject from the field of Christian Thought, 1 subject from the fields of Christian Thought or Bible & Languages and 1 elective.
Undergraduate Certificate of Theology*
Choose 1 Bible or Theology overview subject, 2 subjects from the field of Ministry & Practice and 1 elective.
Graduate Certificate of Divinity
Choose any subject with two at level 8 and another two at level 7 or 8. Take care in planning your studies as some level 8 subjects have pre- or co-requisites.

The study duration for any of our certificate courses is 6 months (full-time) and up to 2 years (part-time)

* Courses offered in 2021 as full time option only. Students starting in Semester 1 will need to complete the course by the end of the year. These will not be offered in 2022.

Fee Help Available

The Federal Government offers the FEE-HELP government loan scheme to assist Australians to fund their education, by paying an eligible student's tuition fees. Eligible students (Australian citizens and residents who hold a permanent humanitarian visa) attending Morling are able to access a FEE-Help loan for the course they are undertaking.

*FEE-HELP is available for all units taken for credit towards an award at Morling (except for Plunge and the Certificate of Theology). Loan fee does not apply to postgraduate students accessing FEE-HELP. See the FEE_HELP loan exemption terms and conditions.

Further Study for Undergraduate Certificate

An Undergraduate Certificate consists of 4 standard subjects (a standard subject is worth 12 credit points, so 48 credit points).

Students can choose to continue their studies by adding more subjects: Diploma (8 subjects in total, 96 cps), Advanced Diploma (12 subjects, 144 cps), Associate Degree (16 subjects, 192 cps); Degree (24 subjects, 288 cps).

Further Study for Graduate Certificate

A Graduate Certificate consists of 4 standard subjects (a standard subject is worth 12 credit points, so 48 credit points).

Students can choose to continue their studies by adding more subjects: Graduate Diploma (8 subjects in total, 96 cps), Master of Theological Studies (16 subjects, 192 cps), Master of Divinity/Ministry (24 subjects, 288 cps).

Study at your own Pace

Studying full-time is the quickest way to gain the knowledge and qualification you're seeking. However, that's not always possible if you have a job or other commitments.

To help you, we offer part-time study, fully online. The study duration for any our certificate courses is 6 months (full-time) and up to 2 years (part-time).

Course units will be delivered in multiple modes including online and livestream, as well as on campus if and when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. If you can't attend weekly lectures consider enrolling into a 3-day intensive unit or a semester-long online unit.

Another popular option is to study casually - you won't have assignments and exams - it great way to draw closer to God and discover where He could be leading you.
