Commonwealth Government Short Courses Grant

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN: COUNSELLING OR

CHAPLAINCY & SPIRITUAL CARE

Morling College has received an allocation of funding under the Commonwealth Government Short Courses Grant to enable fees for students completing a Graduate Certificate of Counselling or a Graduate Certificate of Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care in Semester 2 2021 to be financially subsidised.

This fee subsidy is available for newly enrolled students and only available for Semester 2 2021.

Although there is no requirement that short course enrolments are full-time, Commonwealth funding for this short course initiative is only available for Semester 2 2021, when it is expected the bulk of teaching and assessments to occur.

Who are these courses for:

  • Christians with a heart for supporting and pastorally caring for others
  • Counsellors wishing to start the journey towards accreditation as Clinical Counsellors
  • People exploring  options to move into helping professions
  • People looking for a career change or wishing to increase their skills in listening to others.

Take advantage of the financial assistance available to commence your studies in either Counselling or Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care at Morling College.

Grounded in a Christian Worldview, the training you will receive at Morling College is delivered by experienced practitioner/educators who have a passion for facilitating the development of insight, awareness, knowledge and skill that will enable you to engage in a healing and supportive way with those who are marginalised or hurting in our community. The training at Morling College will provide you with a transformational learning experience that will benefit you both personally and professionally.

Completion of a Graduate Certificate of Counselling or a Graduate Certificate of Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care will also give you access to continue on to complete either a Graduate Diploma or Masters in each of these discipline areas.
