We are excited to offer this special deal for any Morling or Vose alumni again! We hope that this helps you continue your lifelong learning and that you are further equipped and shaped by God through this study.

We have decided to keep costs low to encourage as many of our alumni to take advantage of this offer.  This discount can only be used to audit ONE unit. Any additional audit units will incur the standard fee.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

If you have completed any Award/Course in any of our faculties through Morling or Vose (pre 2021) then this deal is for you! Classes start 18 July

6 GREAT REASONS TO TAKE THIS DEAL

  1. Keep learning and being equipped: We believe that your learning and equipping doesn’t end when you complete your course!

  2. Learn without the stress of assignments or exams: Auditing a unit does take commitment – we want you to be actively engaged… but without the stress of completing course work.

  3. Take a unit you missed in your course: There might be units that you always wanted to do but couldn’t fit in your course structure. We also have new units on offer to discover!

  4. Dip into studying in Bible and Theology or Chaplaincy: If you didn’t complete a Bible and Theology award or are interested in areas of Chaplaincy... this is your opportunity to grow in your knowledge and skills in a new area.

  5. Stay connected or reconnect with the Morling community: This is a great way to engage with Morling now! You will meet people who are like you – seeking to love and serve God in today’s world. You might even reconnect with past classmates and lecturers!

HOW TO CHOOSE A UNIT

  • Check out the applicable timetable, our Academic calendar and your own calendar so you know that you can commit to the unit.
  • Choose ONE unit that you would like to audit.
  • If you want to, you can read the Unit outline for Bible and Theology units on the Australian College of Theology website. Just type in the unit in the search bar on this page
  • If you haven't studied in the Bible and Theology Faculty before - we would advise you to choose units shaded in grey boxes on the Bible and Theology timetable.
  • For both of the Chaplaincy units on offer, please note that these will be targeted towards a chaplaincy context.
  • Note that you don't need to choose a level (5,6 or 8) as an audit student.
  • Many units have face-to-face or livestream (Zoom) options.
  • Note that if you choose face-to-face where there is a livestream option, you can always join via livestream if needed throughout the semester (eg you are in isolation, are travelling, or need to be at home that week!). Choose HOW you would like to attend.
  • Select your unit in the drop-down list below.
  • Only the units shown below are available for this alumni audit deal. Online units cannot be audited. Some intensives may be available for standard auditing (please check with us).

Your commitment and the small print

There is an expectation that audit students commit to active attendance and engagement in at least 10 weeks of the course (total 13 weeks). This is approximately a 30 hour commitment over 13 weeks.
Please ensure that you have carefully checked the applicable timetable, our Academic calendar and your own calendar so you know that you can commit to the unit.
You are not required to complete assessable coursework.
Successful completion/attendance in an audit unit could be used as evidence of professional development in some fields/occupations. Worth checking!
Units taken in audit/casual enrolment mode allow participation in on-campus classes (either face-to-face on campus or via synchronous livestream via zoom). They cannot be credited towards an award at a later stage (but you can repeat them for credit if you would like to).
Deal does not apply to units being audited for reflection during the Accreditation process.
